1. Training Program in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture

    The Institute is accredited of its training curriculum by the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC).

  2. TB-LINC and PBSP undertaking on tuberculosis control

    Partnership with CODE NGO:  “Developing Sectoral TB Agenda, Documenting and Replicating NGO Community Participation in TB Control” in four (4) provinces in Mindanao


  3. Kasagana Ka Mutual Benefit Association

    The project, is a tri-sectoral partnership initiative of HealthDev Institute, KDCI, and the K-MBA, in setting the foundation for and putting into motion a viable comprehensive health promotion and disease control/illness management model that could be linked to a network of government and private health facilities.


  4. Social Health Insurance

    Kapanidungan sa Kalusugan
    HDI initiated the transformation of the health system of the province of Batanes, benefiting almost half of the province’s population and addressing more than 20,000 medical cases in a span of five years.


  5. Community-Based Health Financing

    After the success of the Social Health Insurance Project in Batanes, HDI, together with AWO International, decided to transfer the learnings and experience from the former to develop another health financing scheme that would benefit organized groups in Mindanao.

  6. Community-Based Water and Sanitation

    Through the support from Arbeiterwohlfahrt International, e.V. (AWO) through a grant from the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), this project aims to improve the living conditions of underprivileged peri-urban communities in the margin of Metropolitan Manila through the improvement of the local sanitation and water system.

  7. School Health

    The training on primary health care and school health for teachers is designed to respond to the need in public elementary schools to have trained personnel that can provide the basic heath services for school age children.
